About Captain T's Fishing
Captain Thomas Haughton, a/k/a Captain “T” was fishing the Gulf Coast, both inshore in Mobile Bay and offshore south of Dauphin Island, well before the age of five years.
Captain T’s passion and respect for saltwater fishing were instilled in him through his father and grandfather’s love of fishing.
Having been born and raised in Mobile, and then becoming a permanent resident of Dauphin Island in 2006, has allowed this enthusiastic captain to fulfill not only his dream of being a full-time charter captain, but fulfilling an ever changing and challenging daily learning experience as well.
In the off season, Captain T hires on as a commercial fisherman on various vessels, where his knowledge of deep water fishing and the existence of various species of fish in this area increases.
Captain T especially enjoys fishing for Tuna and Grouper, and loves sharing these fishing experiences with his clients. During the summer months, his days consist of both half-day and full-day Red Snapper trips out of Dauphin Island and the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area.
